MAC Risk Management Led the organizational redesign of MAC Risk Management, the 3rd party administrator for Ahold’s $1 billion book of insurance claims. Service included restructuring the management team, implementing Activity Based Costing, business process reengineering, and outsourcing medical bill management and initial reporting of claims. Efforts have driven more than $35 million of savings since 2006.
Ahold Financial Services Led the process reengineering of Ahold Financial Services, a shared services center. Worked with senior financial officers to create an Activity Based Costing performance-based management system to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, resulting in more than $40 million in savings since 2003.
Giants & Tops Groceries Facilitated creation of a Shared Services Accounting center for Giant & Tops Groceries, responsible for processing the financials of 350 retail grocery stores. Worked directly with the CFO and Controller to achieve annual savings of more than $1 million
US Trade Association (SUSTA) Worked with the Southern US Trade Association (SUSTA) and the USDA to research 15 emerging international consumer markets for agricultural products, identify buyers and create marketing programs to develop supply chain relationships
Pan American Life Insurance Company Implemented call centers for Pan American Life Insurance Company within Ecuador, Panama, El Salvador, and Guatemala, sharing data with the United States. Due to excellent preparation, high user acceptance, and effective implementation the entire project paid for itself after the first call center in Panama
